Various News Articles and Stories have been written over the years because of the great influence that Thomas Stevens and the weaving industry had on the city of Coventry, which is an old walled city in the center of England. In the mid 1800's, about 45% of the population was connected to the weaving trade and Coventry grew to be a great center for engineering and manufacturing.
